Gerald Khor - LLB (Economics, Law) (Hons)

Gerald was called to the Bar in England in 1998 and the Singapore Bar in 1999 and began private law practice in a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters in Singapore.  In 2002 he practised corporate law in a leading Singapore law firm dealing mainly in IPOs and thereafter set up a company dealing in major projects and is involved in the cross-border legal and fund raising aspects of the projects.  He is currently also in private practice in Singapore.

Thoo Chee Leong - B.Com LLB

Chee Leong has advised on M & A, restructuring and corporate fundraising for public listed and private companies in Asia.  He has held positions in Ernst & Young Corporate Finance (Singapore), Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) and CIMB (Malaysia).  In particular, he was involved in the structuring of transactions (eg. acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings), managing the execution process of corporate finance transactions and performing detailed financial analyses and due diligence.

AAIMX supports and assists entrepreneurs and SMEs to attract seed and early growth capital.  AAIMX services allow the raising of expansion funds in compliance with the exemptions under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and reliefs available under ASIC Class Orders.

The AAIMX process utilises advanced internet technologies and functionality to allow entrepreneurs to efficiently and effectively raise capital.  AAIMX’s online bulletin board platform (AAIMX) connects SMEs to capital providers.

AAIMX Directors, Simon Day and Alan D'Andrea have extensive local and international corporate finance transaction experience.  This includes Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and London Stock Exchange public listings, reverse takeovers, private equity and other structured finance deals.
 
Simon Day - Director - B.Com, CA
 
Simon Day has extensive experience in most types of mergers and acquisitions transactions with over 18 years corporate finance experience.  Particular areas of expertise include: management buy-outs; capital raisings (both public and private); acquisitions and divestments; strategic reviews; capital structure option analysis; and; and corporate valuations.  Simon has experience in transaction management, finance evaluation, financial modelling, due diligence and documentation preparation.
 
Prior to establishing Canterbury Hill Advisory, Simon was a partner in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in its Corporate Finance Advisory area, with ANZ Investment Bank for six years and Price Waterhouse, Corporate Finance in London and Melbourne for over five years.
 
Alan D'Andrea - Director - B.Com, LLB (Hons), Dip. Fin. (FP)
 
Alan's corporate finance and securities experience in law firms, corporate advisory practices, family business interests and entrepreneurial start-ups spans over 20 years.
 
Alan's international securities and corporate practice extends to Singapore law firm Chor Pee & Partners (1994 -1995) dealing with cross border transactions in South East Asia to a boutique USA legal practice in New York (1996 -1998) while completing the New York Bar.
 
In Australia, his corporate finance advisory practice experience includes representing SMEs & entrepreneurs in equity and banking finance transactions. His other structured finance transactions cover a range of initial public offerings in Australia and Singapore, reverse takeovers and cross border listings on London Stock Exchange.
 
Alan's book publications on the Initial Public Offer process are titled "The Initial Public Offering Process in Australia: A Practical Guide" and "Going Public in Singapore : A Guide" are co-written with Professor Geof Stapledon of University of Melbourne law school.  Alan has also written a large number of instructional guides and journal papers in securities and corporate finance.
 
Grant Gee - CFO - BBus, CPA
 
Since completing his accounting studies in 1984, Grant has worked in public practice providing advice and guidance to SME owners and management. Grant is currently a partner in ITG Partners, a Chartered Accounting practice located in Melbourne.
 
Grant is also a founding partner and CFO of ITG, a contractor management and payroll company providing specialist accounting and administration services to professional contractors working around the Globe. Since its inception in 1998 ITG has grown to an annual turnover of $ 160 million.
